Social Influencer Emilia Taneva Case Study


PR Goals

Emilia Taneva is a Croatian born luxury lifestyle and social media influencer, as well as a successful orthodontist in the Chicago area. Her goal was to raise her profile in the luxury lifestyle and entertainment media as a top influencer, as well as to gain media coverage with dental/orthodontics industry trade media outlets.

Unique Challenges

With a heavy Croatian accent, Emilia was not comfortable doing any broadcast media, including television, digital video, radio or podcasts. We had to pursue print and digital print media, exclusively. We also had to navigate her dual careers as social media influencer and orthodontist.


We set our sights on regional glossy luxury lifestyle magazines in major markets across the U.S., high authority pop culture and entertainment blogs, and media outlets who cover tech and social innovators. We leveraged Taneva’s beautiful images from her social media platforms that displayed her in exotic locales, beautifully styled and pursuing exciting activities.

We also pursued a high authority column for her to display her expertise in dentistry and orthodontics.


We ran a successful PR campaign which resulted in print and digital/print feature coverage: Lioness Magazine, Innovation & Tech Today Magazine, San Diego Entertainer Magazine, Miami Living Magazine,, TheHypeMagazine, Beverly Hills Times Magazine, Beverly Hills Magazine, Skope Magazine and Social Lifestyle Magazine. We also landed her an ongoing column in Dentistry Today Magazine.
